Cancellation Policy: We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.
If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit to use toward any future workshop, if you notify us at least 72 hours before the workshop. To cancel and request a credit, email us at email@example.com. We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 72 hours advance notice.
The same policy applies to classes at All Hands Workshops.
About Our Policy: Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our teachers — all based on the number of students who register. When students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs.
In fairness to all of our customers, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!
Thank you for understanding!
Low Registration: If a workshop has to be canceled due to low registration, the studio will send an email to notify you in advance and offer you a refund or studio credit.
Registration and Payment: All workshops and classes must be registered for and paid for in advance of the sessions.
Food: Each workshop includes light snacks and drinks. For longer workshops you are welcome to bring a bagged lunch. There is a refrigerator and a microwave available for your use. The All Hands studio is in downtown Santa Cruz, with several excellent coffee and restaurant options. All Hands is an alcohol free environment.
Kids: Most workshops are tailored to students 14 years and older unless otherwise specified. You know your child best, and we are happy to work with you and your child when appropriate.
Safety: It is a good idea to wear closed toe shoes for several of the workshops, to avoid injuring a toe if a cutting tool is accidentally dropped from a work table. Some workshops will include paints, stains, and other art chemicals, which may bother sensitive students and/or stain skin temporarily and clothes more permanently. Additionally, we will use needles, scissors, rotary cutters, craft blades, hammers and various other implements of destruction.
Social Media: Participation in and/or attendance at classes, workshops and events with All Hands Workshops implies permission to be captured in photos to be used for social media presentation. Any opt-out of this policy must be communicated to All Hands Workshops in writing prior to start of the event.
Original art work, designs, patterns: The artistic work, designs, methods, and patterns shared and taught during any class, workshop or event are the express property of the individual, instructor, artist presenting and must not be copied, sold, or shared without express written permission from the instructor. The original artistic creations of the students in any class, workshop, or event are the sole property of the student that created the work, and shall not be copied, sold, or used beyond sharing images on social media without permission from student.
Liability Waiver: By registering for any workshop, class, or event, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless All Hands Workshops LLC, its managers, members, employees, contractors, volunteers, and any other people officially connected with the event from and against any and all claims for personal injuries or damages of any kind arising from your participation.
Agreement to Terms: Registration and payment for events is evidence of your agreement to the terms and conditions for attending courses at All Hands Workshops. Registering for a specific workshop, class or other event with All Hands Workshops shows your agreement to abide by safety rules and other requirements as outlined in your specific workshop or event.
