Learn how to make your own cozy modern pouf to complement your home decor. No experience necessary!
In this workshop, we will:
knit the cover piece using giant stuffed yarn and a simple stitch you can make with your hands (rather than knitting needles)
learn how to make a fabric stuffing bag
stuff your pouf before closing it up
learn how to adjust the size to make bigger or smaller poufs as well as alternative ways to stuff it for a more soft or firm filling
The following supplies are included:
50 yards of stuffed tube yarn
matching fabric to make a stuffing bag
polyester fiberfill stuffing
You can bring:
optional: your own stuffing (you can use just about anything - old blankets or towels, feather pillows, a foam cushion, etc)
You will go home with:
a finished pouf, approximately 16 inches in diameter and 12 inches tall. The size can vary a lot, depending on how big you make your loops.
There are six colors of yarn to choose from. You may request a color prior to the class, but Cara cannot guarantee she will be able to get it. If you do not request a color, you can choose from what is available on the day of the class.
